Porn Part II

Hmm. For the most part I think I write very cheap and lousy porn. I don't know how to amend them, though. I was at Borders today and read Harlequinn's Mills and Boons. I think they're so much worse. How can they use terms like "gazing down at her folds of secrets and looking at the glimmering pearl from within..." ? I feel....strange because the other fics I was reading, people actually describe things very straightforwardly. Ass, cock, vulva, labia, clit, vagina, etc. Clinical terms like penis are rare, because it sounds iffy. Anyway. "Folds of secrets and glimmering pearl" reminds me of a meal of oysters. Ew. I'll never eat oysters with the same mind again.

After I wrote the part in the first post of this blog the other day, I wrote the subsequent paragraph:

Dammit. I think I write lousy porn and I can't stop. How can I improve, though? Someone suggest practical experience. I agree. Except that... you just can't do it with anyone. Some other people suggest watching porn. o.o Porn is pretty scary. It's lovely in the imagination, though. But seeing other people doing it is just scary.
